Phase 1 (Primary): Appear for JEE (Main) conducted by NTA.

Lateral Entry: Appear for BCECE (LE).
When BCECEB releases the notification, register online on their portal (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in). Pay the counseling fee and download your Rank Card and Application Form (Part A & B). Keep these safe.
Log in to the portal and select Government Engineering College Lakhisarai as your preferred institute. Ensure you lock your choices before the strict deadline.
BCECEB releases the allotment result. Download your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter. It will mention your "Reporting Center" (usually GECL Campus).
Visit the assigned college for thorough Document Verification and fee payment.
Keep scanned copies ready for registration, and bring originals + 3 photocopies during Physical Reporting:
Reporting day can be busy. Here is what typically happens at the Admission Cell (Admin Block):

Originals + 3 sets of photocopies. Originals are returned after verification.
Collect your provisional admission slip generated from the BCECEB portal.
